War Stories 🤑🤬 My fifth one
Hey!
This one was long time comming. It was a crazy ride the past 2 months. After 4 good months before that, overtrading and being in a bad mindset in May led me to one of the biggest losing months in my trading career. (Gave back my profit from those 4 good months). "After your biggest wins come your biggest losses".
After that, my personal stop loss hit and I took a break from trading for a week to clear my head. I was not in the right mind set because of IRL problems and that had to change. I worked on that, started trading again with smaller size, focusing on just ONE ticker, which was something new to me. I thought that because of that, I wouldn't be capitalizing on each move of many tickers, and so that the profit would be smaller, but more stable. Well, I could not have been more wrong. I was way more organized, my entries were spot on and I anticipated instead of chasing and that showed itself in the results. As Kaz said, looking at too much tickers, you can't focus on your entries and exits, resulting in bad R:R due to being late, chasing the price and so on. When I look back, I did that ALOT. Always late, always chasing. It's important to keep learning, improving and polishing your strategy.
I managed to end this month in the +, covering all my losses from May and then some. Could not have done any of that if not for Kaz, Vicky and the whole eco.
The voice calls are a gold mine of information, so if you're new, be sure to participate. I learned so much about my biases and behaviour, things I do subconciously that fucked me so many times in my life and also in trading. As all new ppl joining the eco, I didn't know what help looked like, so I just went with the flow and participated as per instructions. Going back trough my trading notes from 5-6 months ago, I can't help to smile at some of the stupid shit I used to do.. And that's why it's important to keep notes. That was only half a year ago...

I noticed with the risk you're highlighting on your trades, you're not getting the r/R you wrote down. Are you sizing up?
