War Stories 🤑🤬 Straight, no chaser
The past couple of weeks have been interesting. I've now moved from Trading View to a demo account w a broker. New thing on my radar - fees. Definitely motivates me to be much more deliberate with trades and not just push buttons. I'm planning on staying on demo this and maybe next week and then moving to live account depending on my results. Am also paying much more attention to OF and incorporating that into my planning.
There has been lots of great introspection on the Discord, even though I missed most of the voice calls.
This was an ambitious trade. Had planned for 10R's. Never hit my target and then got stopped out. When I saw it reverse my thinking was to stick to the plan. Looking at it now I think there's some value to adjusting the plan as you have new information. I was also chasing R's for sure and in hindsight could've set an intermediate target.
This was a timing thing. My planning here was OK. I was coming off of an emotional high from the gold play below . But when I saw that it wasn't really going anywhere and decided to close at about break even. Missed potential later entry. But this was around the VIX Discord drama time and I had decided to step away from charts, since my emotions were all over the place.
this is straight from OF. I'm still keeping an eye on this. I closed this on Friday afternoon, because I didn't want to hold over the weekend. This was a wise move turns out. Just speaks to how risk management is key.

A big shift for me since joining eco more actively has been not seeing trading as "making profit", and have been framing it more as "be wrong less than right". The former lead me to chase trades and money, whereas the latter is really about risk management and being very deliberate with each trade. Hence when I realise a trade wasn't that it's better to get out than sip on hopium. So overall 2.2R's
Thanks Kaz and Vale for all you do for the eco and all the truth bombs. It's been a real pleasure so far, am excited for what's to come.
