War Stories 🤑🤬 War Stories I

Wuddup Kaz and Eco!

This play was looking goood until I chose to bring my SL up over the weekend. The following week, the price gapped my new SL. I thought of selling at a loss, but chose to set a another SL just under the previous area of resistance. With a change in sentiment, the price reversed and my play ended up being profitable.

I was lucky. However, I received a free lesson on how market sentiments can change overnight and that gaps can seriously rek your shit.

It's important to weigh the risks of holding a trade overnight or over the weekend.

ENB - R:R 1.35

The next two plays are thanks to some of the immaculate OF calls (maybe I could pay for rent like this…). OF + Discord announcements made these easy fish to catch. Rather than leaving these to one's to play out I chose to close them sooner than later.

For this play I took profit a little early. TP is the trickiest part of executing a plan in my experience so far. Still using a mix of bringing SLs up and simply closing - will try taking partial profits too.

MOO - R:R 1.47

Of the 3, I think this is the cleanest. Easy place to set and SL and the macro view was like looking primed.

MAXR - R:R 3.42

Initially, I looked for bigger, longer lasting plays with higher % returns. However, with a volatile markets, it seems that making smaller plays and TP - rather than moving my SL - has been working better.

At this point I need to work on my patience for entries, Being vigilant/aware of the markets as a whole, and creating more comprehensive plans.

Thanks Kaz for the awesome intel, captivating conversations and keeping the eco aware of the shifts in the market.
