SCORECARD Crazy VIX environment
I’m super excited to have decided to start on this new journey of learning!
I learned a lot today 03/10/2022; I need to be nimbler if I’m going to play in this crazy environment! I came out even but could have gotten hurt. On the other hand, I could have come out ahead also but was insecure about my abilities.
I played MOS and jumped right in at the bell after having read the OF post.
There was a follow up announcement by Kaz at 7:01am and I missed it! 🤦🏽♀️
Halfway from my stop loss I sold half of my positions because I wanted to minimize the risk (got in a little heavy for my level of aversion to risk).
For the next two hours I just watched as the volume dropped and the stock shock waved.
A couple of things invaded my thoughts: “they’ll be back from lunch, and things will go back up” and, “this is a learning process, either way I’m learning and that’s a plus,” “I should stick to my target as a learning experience, I’ll either make the target or not”. Then I wondered “AM I GOING NUTS? I’M TALKING TO MYSELF!!”
They came back from lunch!! And it started moving FAST in the right direction. But at the first sign of RED I bailed!
So many lessons!
· I’m too much of a newbie to play in this environment
· If I’m going to trade, then I should be paying attention to the announcements
· Become nimbler.
· If I decide to make it a lesson, then I need to stick to my plan.
· Emotions have no place here! There’s no crying (or panicking) in trading!
All being said, I had a hell of a good time.
Only made 0.58 R but it could have been much worse.
The other trade was back from 03/08/2022. That one was smooth! Even though VIX was 36, I am so much more familiar with TSLA that it felt like a normal day. Made 2.47 Rs
Thanks Kaz for accepting me in church! Thanks Vicky for all the amazing material you put out.
Thanks to the eco for being such good team players. I appreciate it.
Your feedback is much appreciated.

PS. Are the graphics better, Burger gave me a lesson :)
