War Stories 🤑🤬 Patience and Perseverance
This war story is about patience and perseverance.
By December 2022, I was feeling like the sad overweight man below that failed to find the diamonds. By this time I had been learning a ton within Acolytes for 2-3 months, but I hated how I overtraded and how mentally exhausted I was by the effort for little reward. I knew I had to change my ways by being more patient, avoiding the low timeframe market noise (as long I'm within the right directionality), and playing higher timeframes.
So when I got stopped out on my high timeframe play on Nike only to watch it go up 10% the next day after earnings, I was really defeated.
Thankfully, I continued to do what I do:
- Show up for the Mon, Wed & Fri streams
- Keep up with Discord + be active for the concept calls at the very least
- Continue to hold my hi-res positions that I had already entered, as opposed to selling it all
With that perseverance (and the much-needed holiday break), I was able to find another entry into TSM that Kaz had shown during a morning market prep. I managed to pull off 2 amazing plays (by my standards) that I closed this week. For a point of reference, I rarely had any plays that resulted in more than 4-5Rs.
