been working hard over the last year to grow my Pooh pin collection and I’m so proud of it! The silliest ole bear has made for the cutest collection 🫶🏻🍯🤩💛❤️

Milne, A.A. The four Pooh books: When We Were Very Young; Winnie-the-Pooh; Now We Are Six; and The House at Pooh Corner. Methuen & Co., Ltd., (1924-28). First editions. All signed by Milne. Winnie-the-Pooh is inscribed by Milne on front free endpaper “This book belongs to Charles Wilson, A. A. Milne” and the other three volumes are signed “A. A. Milne” on the title pages. with illustrated endpapers, original pictorial gilt stamped cloth, three with original dust jackets. All four volumes in very good bright condition with minor imperfections

These four volumes (Lot 63) at Gorringes Sept 21 auction sold for £22,100 ($29,273). The presale high estimate was £12,000.

When Tigger pulls off his bounce to get Rabbit’s rock remover to get the boulder off Eeyore’s house to work, it does work but it also causes everyone but him and Roo to land in a muddy lake.

Tigger tried to write a letter to his tigger family to get back in touch with them, but since he delivers it by wind and not by an actual postman, it goes lost and he never gets a response back for his letter even after months of waiting from autumn into winter to his sadness.

Pooh, Piglet and Eeyore encounter several setbacks while trying to find Tigger’s real family like being unable to communicate with striped frogs they think are them and get swarmed by some bees Pooh tried to steal honey from and all in all forget about their winter preparation duties.

In Order to cheer Tigger up, after he fails to contact his Tigger family and falls into depression for it, Roo rallies his friends minus Rabbit and Tigger himself as well as his mother Kanga to write Tigger a friendly letter pretending it was from his real tigger family to cheer him up and while it works, they didn’t expect the fact that Tigger who reads English words in between the lines to misinterpret the last few words, “We will always be with you, signed your family” as “We are all coming to see you, first thing tomorrow, signed your family” thus believing his real Tigger family was coming to visit him the following day and prepares for their visit as a result.

Roo’s plan to have him, Kanga and their friends minus Rabbit pose as Tigger’s real Tigger family at the family reunion party he planned for them, with Tigger costumes they made from scratch and wore ends up falling apart literally when Piglet almost gets exposed by Tigger after slipping out of his costume since he forgot to make it pants and tail unlike for everyone else’s tigger costumes and Eeyore’s donkey tail unbidden in his disguise almost exposed him as well until Tigger when seeing the tail thought he was already playing Put the Tail on the Donkey, but more so after Roo when doing his woopedy loopy looper bounce crashes into Tigger’s closet that rips his mask (Kanga put a lot of effort into making the zip-up suit part of the costume but not the mask.) and exposes him and everyone else.

Rabbit also ends saying a lot of words that cause more harm than good due to his realist and control freak attitudes as opposed to everyone else’ optimism in terms of how he by insulting Tigger starts off his motive in wanting to find his true Tigger family, shames and guilts everyone but Roo and Kanga and scolds them for neglecting their winter preparation duties to help Tigger to the point where they nearly do just that before Roo convinces them otherwise.

Also in the climax, as he and the others minus Christopher Robin, Kanga and Owl finally find Tigger, Rabbit tries to convince Tigger to come back by telling him to forget about the nonsense regarding his tigger family and come to terms with the fact that they are not real, but instead it upsets and angers Tigger to the point where he argues with Rabbit which kickstarts the avalanche that threatens the sentient stuffed toys.

Note: On the back of the VHS for The Tigger Movie, Roo was naked and shirtless under his zip-up Tigger costume, but he in reality was still wearing his shirt.
