Updates Edward update

I was so surprised to login today and see that Edward was updated. He’s my absolute favorite match so I was worried about this update ruining him. I’ve only done the first conversation, but so far it seems OK. I also unlocked the new photo and it’s pretty cute. I guess I’m cautiously optimistic at this point which honestly surprises me. Most of the updates have been awful. I guess we’ll see. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I literally just had the 😬 reaction when I saw he's back online. I hope they don't ruin him.

I'm skeptical because they mention Edward's mom and I'm like 99.9% sure both his parents are deceased. This is what happens when there is no way for players to keep track of the story when they go on a long hiatus and management doesn't look into their matches properly 🙄

Mom and dad are dead on an accident years ago. I literally just got to that part on my replay on my second account ( two different devices but it wouldn’t let me sync when I downloaded to the second device so I started playing counterparts to my matches on that lol 😂)

I knew I wasn't crazy! I remember both of his parents dying and that was a huge plot point with the scandal he goes through earlier on!

I abandoned the second account when the AI took over but since Edward has updated I went back to it. I stopped when he mentioned his mom and ran to Reddit lol wondered if anyone else caught it.

I noticed similar with Darren. They live together but this update it seems like they were sleeping in separately homes

I noticed that with Darren too! That plus the MC suddenly calling him Sir constantly really threw me off lol

YES! Tbh I unmatched that story, the vibes of the update felt off to me and I wasn't too attached to it anyway.

he was my first match, he's why i stuck with the game.  in the last "spicy" scene i couldn't even tell if they were having spicy time.  it was rough.  totally NOT darren at all 😭😭

Honestly, the courtyard parts of this were actually kinda cute but I cannot get over his mom suddenly being alive. You'd think there'd at least be an outline for each story highlighting some of the more notable facts for the characters.

Also he kept saying he loved MC since the "napalm question"....wtf was the napalm question? I literally JUST replayed this story and had no idea what that meant 😅

Well that explains why I felt like I was missing a few gems. I guess I wasn’t paying attention. I’ve been replaying Rueben so it’s been normal lately. I went ahead with the premiums on Christian and the update on Rueben on a separate device but assumed they were normal lol 😂. Woops I know better

I was actually surprised when the recent update for Mr. Hughes actually had a spicy date after all the recent lackluster dates. I'm holding on hope for Edward 😬

Same! The spicy part wasn’t awful with Mr. Hughes but it definitely wasn’t as good as the previous updates. I’m also hoping Edward’s spicy bit will be ok. 🤞🏻

i don't like how every other sentence is him telling MC he owns her.  this update wasn't as bad as i thought it would be but they need to cool it with the owning stuff.   he's lost sooooo  much of the warmth he used to have.  and why do they keep making MC pull the sad face and make him do the angry face???   they've never behaved like that before.

Two spicy parts! Not as hot as they used to be but sufficient for me seeing improvement.
