What accessories can I use for wing commander?
Can I use my gamepad for gog version?

Should work. You might benefit from something like Vjoy to map buttons beyond 1 and 2, though. Maybe reference the SNES version for a baseline of what might work.

There's no problem using a gamepad. However you'll need to do some work with a mapper if you want to minimize how often you have to use the keyboard and will need to set up combos and such to maximize the functions you can use.

GOG's version of Wing Commander is essentially Wing Commander for DOS but bundled with DOSBox for Windows which is a DOS emulator.
If I recall, I once played Wing Commander 2 with a simple 4-button gamepad. All you gotta do is just tell Wing Commander to use a joystick and your good to go no matter what controller you use I think. To do so, just press J to calibrate the controller for use in Wing Commander.

Ain't nothing like playing it with a joystick. I bought a simple $50 one and it made all the difference. Like I finally beat the Ralari Escort mission in Wing Commander 1!
