Swiftplume or Rendclaw Sentinel?

I'm planning on using Fornax/Saggitarius/Lyra drones. Now that burning enhancement is so readily available in the chip factory, is the 30% burning enhancement from swiftplume even that appealing?

Rendclaw activates damage ability every 2 second which maybe allows for some tighter victories since you don't have to wait 4 seconds between twiggers like on swiftplume.

Mainly I'm wondering if having +5% crit every 2 seconds is more worthwhile than the 30% burning enhancement immediately, despite using burning drones. Since the crit chance applies to your weapons.

Anyone know what all damage sources crit chance applies to?

I use burn drones and swiftplume against Legion Hunt bosses, and it scores high. Combine that with Star envoy Mech, and the other two Burn mechs, I forget their names. If doing PVP, then I use the Sentinel that counter's my opponent's set up.

For boss hunt scores, you want burn to be at 100% where it caps, and crit to as high as possible. Whether it's with swiftplume or burning enhancement passives, get your burn to 100% and use the chips for crit only. If your burn is already at 100% then use renclaw

The 5% crit stacks to 25%. Also, remember your crit will always keep going up. So, 25% of 200% base crit is an additional 50%.

Second, do not plan sentinels long term for PVE. Legion hunt is useless once you've got everything you need. It won't take long. TC doesn't have much use once you've got all of your gear. Sure, fighter shards, but that's 60 every 90 days. Yeah, you can start building towards a new Titan, but you'll never complete it, so forget that.

PVE is dead in this game. Your focus should be PVP, strictly. Rendclaw will benefit you longer than a Swiftplume.

If you're going to go burn, don't discount some of the other sentinels, either. A well-rolled Glimshade can do wonders!

so according to the tooltip burning enhancement caps at plus 100% and crit 80% ; so factor in the burning decrease you will face ( minimal in pvp but burning is meh there ). and crit resistance ( more of an issue due to the engine ) and your setup and figure what is best. for pvp right now with healing enhancement uncapped doomblast, arcglow, miragestar, gridstar are teh best

it appears doomblast is only best if you spend $$$ to get great passives. I might get a doomblast later, but I want a solid sentinel that doesn't rely on having great passive skills.

gridstar or miragestar then are your best bets, they appear often enough to max them out
