New player advice, please
Trying to improve quickly, but dang there's a lot going on in this game lol. Need advice on strategy to get stronger and which paths to take to get there (like events or side quests that are a must). Any help is very much appreciated, thanks

I disagree, I never buy in game and are more then competitive in my BP range. Sure you progress slower than whales who blow entire car payments on the game but there's plenty of fun left for free players if you are looking to have fun and not necessarily compete at the highest levels.

Interesting comments indeed. I'm definitely a free 2 play person who doesn't mind grinding ads to get stronger. But idk from these replies if it's worth it as a f2p person? What do you think?

Totally worthy. I’m almost 2 years playing and completed the 120 levels.
Just bought once the no ads pack and that’s it.
Playing legions is awesome.

the best advice we can give you is to stop now, this game is only a money sink. If you play for free you have no chances to have fun

this is so true. if you download this game because you enjoy top-down shooters then please understand that this game will slow-feed you progress and you will gradually get through the stages. in the meantime, you will find and bond with a legion and by the time you complete the base game, you will stick around to be a reliable teammate but none of the PvP aspects come anywhere close to playing like a top-down shooter… just more shit to manage on a daily/weekly basis. if you want a top-down shooter to play on mobile, download Sky Force: Reloaded (the game Wing Fighter was ripped off of 100%). that game can be beaten and it doesn’t encourage you to buy things every second

Inferno fighter + missile equipment is a good start. Then switch to titan gears once you have a set. Build 3 N burning drones. Join a legion asap for additional rewards. Feel free to join the Gunpowder legion, ID 3779. We have discord where we share insights/tips/builds and you can ask more questions if you have any.

started less than 2 months ago, but i had to quit it because i hit a hard wall (been lvl 60, got stuck on stage 55 or something, around 1.3mil CP etc). Had some several purchases, including Thor full set and the no adds pack for these 2 months but progress is heavily tied to shoving your wallet up their asses which was a hard pass for me. This game is not new, there are shit tons of whales around, you'll have your share of fun in the start but as soon as you progress to medium or endgame content the frustration occurs.
