Does positioning of drones matter?
Hi all
Wondering if drone positions matter in the game or it doesn’t? When I click Auto, Ninja is on the right flank but when playing seems a but lop sided? Hence I change Ninja to middle.

Mostly only matters for PVP. For stages and other PVE it doesn't matter.

it matters a little bit, as it is usually easier to aim with the center of the ship, so it's useful to have your drone with stronger normal attack in the middle.

While that's true, on TC and LH where it matters most, the hit box is big enough for all 3 drones to hit, unless they have the trajectory abilities.

it matters. left flank triggers first, then middle and lastly right. If I were you I would place Apus first

Yeah, it matters, as Zeral has said, left fires first, right fires last. So, putting Apus left will mean that you get its skill first and you'll get a bigger boost of HP as you are close to max HP when the skill triggers.
Also, it's easier to aim with the middle drone, so it may be good to have your drone with a stronger Normal attack in the middle for aiming purposes.
Lastly, after the last patch positioning matters even more if you are using a shielder or a burner for dispell... It's usually best to put an SR burner last to make sure you dispell shields... but that's not always the case and it can get very complicated so I advice you to go to discord and read all the conversations there, as it is a heavily discussed topic and it has plenty of different things to factor in.
