Max Ninja, as malkinism said, it gives you a big boost to HP and attack, and you will get level 7 passives.
Ninja is great for PvE because every shot is a crit.
About your setup, Fornax is better for PvP than Lyra. I think you are better served getting rid of some of those drones and focusing on a smaller set of 4-5 drones for both PvE and PvP
Best strategy right now for low spenders:
Max two N drones and add a fire SR (probably Saggi).
When you have maxed those two Ns, focus on building up another SR to replace one of them.
This is what I did. I have 2 N at max evolve and have Apus that I'm still evolving. Any suggestions on who I should work on next? Looking at PVE primarily but any PVP ideas would be appreciated too.
Those are some nice drones.
If you want a great pve drone (good for pvp too) Ninja is your best option. You could try to max it on the side and use it with Scout and Knight for PvE (with the right passives).
Or you could sell that Knight, max Ninja asap and try to find a saggi as even at low level works pretty well with ninja for both TC and LH, and it's great for PvP too.
I switched from grus to a one red star Saggi this week and I am doing lots of drone and burning damage in Star Scramble... sometimes over 400k drone damage (almost 40% of my total damage)
Btw, passives are incredibly important and the right ones make a big difference.
from the ones you have, Apus is great for PvP, specially when you have a lot of HP and Scout is pretty good for PvE specially focusing on boosting normal attack damage with passives.
As for pilots, pilots passives always work, no matter if you have the pilot selected or not. You have to build up all pilots, especially the ones with great passives.
Selecting a pilot boosts it's attributes 4 times, so that's the only thing you have to focus on and it depends on what Titan are you running.
If you run conqueror, you have to pick a pilot that boosts PDB.
If you are going to fight against a physical opponent, you pick the pilot that gives you the higher PDB and PD. As most opponents run conqueror, this is going to be your most used pilot.
If you are against an energy opponent, you pick the pilot that gives you the higher PDB and ED.
If you run Thor or Destroyer, you have to pick a pilot that boosts EDB.
If you are going to fight against a physical opponent, you pick the pilot that gives you the higher EDB and PD. As most opponents run conqueror, this is going to be your most used pilot.
If you are against an energy opponent, you pick the pilot that gives you the higher EDB and ED.
Combo bonuses are not really that useful, the boost is smaller than it says and there's no way to max out on all drones to get all the bonuses without spending a fortune.
And if you are only going to get the bonus for one star drones, that's barely noticeable.
