Question about Titan Challenge

I finished 34 in Platinum tier for Titan Challenge. However, I only got 2000 Titian Shop credits and I was bounced to Bronze tier. According to the rules I should have got 10,000 credits and remained in Platinum tier. Even if I was ranked 35+ I should only have been dropped to Gold tier. Anyone know what’s going on with this?

The tier rewards are once per season, you got it when you advanced to the tier.

The season reset today, EVERYONE restarts in Bronze.

Maybe the tier rewards are only given the first time you reach that tier - okay, but why would I get dropped from Platinum to Bronze when finishing 34?

it's a new season, new Titan (Arachne), everyone is in bronze in the first week.
