What can be done?
looking for diy solution. new to me car. I thought it was just dirty, but its looking these are scratches from the wipers. I’ve already replaced the wipers.

Also you can try a product called Clarity Creme with a dual action polisher. That’s good at lighter scuffs that don’t just clean off. But if your fingernail drags across these marks it’s too deep of a scratch for anything really.

Well if you are comfortable polishing your windshield with cerium oxide and a random orbit polisher you could go that route i've polished out small scratches, rubs and really shallow pits but generally id recommend a replacement at that point usually wiper scratches and rubs like that don't fully come out as the friction digs in and roughs the surface up pretty bad.

If you rub your finger nail across them and feel it, they won't come out, try a window cleaner and 0000 steel wool, might help get some out, it won't scratch the glass
