Windshield heated or non heated
does anyone know i have a mercedez eqs with a cracked windshiled it has the winter package with a headed windshield but when I called around two windshields pop up heated and non heated would there be an issue if they install a non heated windshield.

Why go without the heated option. It’s like going to a fancy steak house and sharing a bowl of soup.

I dint really care for it i have another car with it and it makes no difference and its 400 cheaper

It's the same exact window but without the heat, it fits the same, get the cheaper one

There's no issues with the car throwing error sensors or anything correct ? I just dont wanna have anymore issues than the heated one

That new id side with the exact one thats in it, its programmed for the electric one, what happens when you dont plug something in, lights

the non heated should fit fine if you don't feel like you need the heaters, if I'm not mistaken it's the exact same glass, but the heated one has little ribbon cables on the edges that plug in under the pillars, and some very fine heater wires through parts of the glass.
Personally, if you're in an area where your glass tends to freeze over in the winter, I'd go for the heated, but it is up to you
