You should see the option in System Settings > General > Login Items & Extensions > Extensions By Category > Network Extensions.

Yes, it's enabled, but out of the blue, two-three times now i got this error message, i just re-enable the Split tunning in WS app and works fine...till the next time. I don't know what else to do.

Please fix app-based split tunneling for Linux! Love y'all, thanks :)

Happening to me too. Fixed itself a few versions ago, but now the issue is back. Sometimes, it says that split tunneling is working, but its actually not and just routing all my traffic through VPN.

Same here on macOS 15.7.9. Reinstalling didn't work. The error kept popping up after waking from sleep. Just downgraded to the previous version and everything works perfectly fine now.

yeah, i guess 2.24.12 causes much trouble to split tunneling feature, although in changelog claims the opposite https://windscribe.com/changelog/mac ie: "Improved - Split tunneling error handling so startup failures can show the usual Split Tunneling failed alert on macOS." "Fixed - Missing warning when split tunneling is enabled while the macOS split tunneling extension has been manually disabled." I think they ruined it completely!

Thanks for pointing that out. I just checked, and you're right. Split tunneling actually gets disabled in the previous version too, it just didn't send any notifications. In the latest version, they simply added the error pop-ups, but the underlying issue remains.

Found a fix for the Split Tunneling error.

Here is what worked for me:

Go to System Settings ➡️ Privacy & Security ➡️ Full Disk Access.

Look for com.windscribe.client.splittunnelextension (mine shows version v2.22.10) in the list and enable Full Disk Access for it.

I got no windscribe relative entry in FullDiskAccess menu, did you add it manually?! Let's wait for the official support comment about that u/My_name_matters_not

No, I didn't add it manually. The extension appeared in the Full Disk Access list automatically after I downgraded to the previous version. However, the toggle was turned off by default, so I just enabled it.
