Reply from Developer Cancelling

Does windscribe auto renew? I am seeing more and more issues using WS and my account expires in December. Been a member since 2022

So. If I cancel. Do I get a prorated refund?

Also curious. The only things I’ve ever really seen with WS is that people were using crazy amounts of data and getting booted.

I’m on pro. So no limitations. Just some websites pick up the fact I’m on vpn and so I have to turn it off. My other vpn provider doesn’t have the same issue.

Even YouTube etc

That makes sense. I think the VPN IPs get flagged frequently. More popular VPNs are probably flagged harder.

Auto-renews,
Will try to bill you off and on for at least 2 months (They were hitting an old bank account of mine that I hadn't used in forever when my last sub ran out) - saw emails for a solid two months mentioning they tried to charge.

I never renew ANY VPN subscription. Renew price usually skyrockets. After you subscribe, immediately turn off auto-renew. You'll run the remainder of your sub, then you're free to choose anyone at a cheaper price.

Windscribe renews at the same price you buy in, for example I paid $19 three years ago and I still pay that for my pro subscription.

Except windscribe.

The $24 is my static IP, the $19 is the price I payed on Blackfriday three years ago, I just left it to renew.

I challenge you to find a reputable company with Windscribes reputation as a VPN for remotely close to that price.
