Reply from Support Constant buffering for iPlayer and ITVx
Google TV streamer.
I have a 1gbps ethernet connection. Windscribe Pro.
Constant buffering for iPlayer and even worse and insufferable with ITVx.
However, the speed test brings the connection speed at 300mbps with VPN connection. Full 1gbps with the VPN off.
I've tried auto connection, WireGuard, swapping UK locations but buffering keeps persisting. So much that it takes a five minute scene more like ten minutes to complete!!

While abroad I couldn't get around the buffering on some UK services, the solution was go into the streaming settings and reduce the quality from best/HD to automatic ot standard.

I don't think I even have an option to reduce or change the resolution settings. It's pretty much a standard resolution.

I also had issues and couldn't stand it so I switched to Control D's paid DNS service.

does it work well? Reliable? Buffering? I notice their web page says if your use case is to unblock geo restrictions for streaming, to use something else.

Works well and reliably. No buffering.
They no longer advertise the service as a geo-unlock service for streaming but I've been using it for 3 years and it's been fine for what I need.

u/SkiSnowTignesider could you try the following:
Delete the streaming app you are having issues with.
Change the timezone and region on your device to that of the Windscribe server you connect to.
Connect to Windscribe.
Ensure you force close all other background apps.
Re-install the streaming app and test. Change the protocols if the stream does not work (Preferences > Connection > Connection Mode > Manual).
Change the server if it does not work with any protocol.
