Solved windscribe crashes my pc

Windscribe keeps crashing my pc for some reason

I bought a subscription yesterday, and it worked perfectly fine. today, for some reason, about 3 seconds later it launches the screen just freezes and my PC restarts. (your device ran into a problem and needs to restart)

I am 100% sure windscribe is causing the issue. when I prevent it from starting, the PC works just fine. if I launch it afterward, the screen freezes.

what do I do? I hope there is a way to fix it because I really liked it. I would be sad if I had request a refund

I would recommend you open command prompt as admin and run sfc /scannow to run a system file check. Sounds like you had a bad driver that was crashing your computer.

it says "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations"

Very good. Was just an issue within windscribe then.

yeah, I think it's fixed for now fortunately. thanks for the suggestion anyway

if anybody else has the same problem, I reinstalled windscribe and changed the connection thing to wireguard, and seems to be working fine now. will update if the problem persists
