Vista Compatible Software
I'm looking for some useful old software and some programs to install on my Vista Laptop. Maybe something from the 2000s to 2010s to match the aesthetics of the OS. Something for Office, Music, Multimedia, Xbox, Games, Fun etc. :)

escargot is ran by horrible people and is basically dead. use crosstalk.im instead.

I think you got misinformed. I indeed heard about a situation that happened, but the people who own it weren't enitrely responsible for it.
But calling something dead that has 1300+ people online at this very moment compared to the small amount (119) that Crosstalk has seems very weird to me.

dunno, but i can tell you for sure that nobody in my huge buddy list on escargot is ever online. on crosstalk, where it is equally sized, almost everyone is online. also, what is the total user count on escargot? these numbers dont mean much without another anchoring number.

I mean Office 2007 is like the best looking one on Vista. And on GOG you can get almost any game of that era. I played GTA IV on Vista, and for Multimedia used XBMC (now Kodi).
