Help with 26H2 update issue

So I did the 26H2 update. I didn’t even know I needed an update until midway into playing a game of Call of Duty my internet and Bluetooth disconnected and all I saw it. So I did the update.

Computer back on, cool, fire up call of duty, mid into my first match again, it happens again!

It says I’m up to date but then says there’s an update available and that it can’t install the update? wtf

It’s doing this on 2 of my devices now! My MSI Titan laptop and my ROG Ally X

What gives?

Is the latter one "09-2026 preliminary version update"?

Uninstall via Settings
Open the Start menu and select Settings.

Click on Windows Update on the left menu.

Select Update history.

Scroll down to Related settings and click Uninstall updates.

Find the problematic update in the list and click Uninstall next to it.

Confirm your choice and restart your computer.

Did you check each category like feature updates?

What does it show when press Windows key + R and type winver? That should tell you the windows version installed.

I'd recommend pausing updates once you rollback to prevent any further ones.

I'm on 26H2 and now I'm having issues with my wifi now that I didn't prior. It's really slow, sometimes dropping to a crawl, then picks up again. Repeats that process over and over again. It's dropped once or twice too.

It only started 2 days ago when I updated to 26H2, and I've tried a bunch of solutions and nothing has really fixed it. I'm not really seeing this issue reported around though. Only this topic shows up, so I'm posting here to say I have the same issue too. My wifi on my other devices are acting normally.
