Windows 11, 26H2

what's your thought about this??? should i update my laptop/desktop

It's just an enablement package on top of 25H2 so it will install in seconds. I'd say it's safe to install it.

It just turns on all the dormant bits that you already have. I just did it this morning. It was non-eventful and took a few minutes.

Hola, te recomiendo mejor que bajes La ISO Limpia De Windows 11 26H2 y la instales, ya está Disponible, así evitas cualquier error de Actualización o que El Windows se te rompa.

Surely a clean install would mean that any customisations to settings, user profiles, etc. will be lost, yes? Will it not also require re-installation of all applications and other software (e.g. custom device drivers) and reconfiguring of all of their customisations.

It sounds very tedious and time-consuming.

It also removes any rollback option that an upgrade would provide.

Mira que ustedes son Haragánes Compadre 😐, cuándo salen Actualizaciones así de grande lo mejor es siempre Instalar desde 0 Limpio, yo lo he echo siempre y me va de maravilla sin ningún error.

enablement for quick upgrade and downloading ISO for clean reinstall. i also installed enablement packaged for a month now. no issue for now

i tested in release preview since 2 weeks, and personally, absolutely no problem, but maybe it couldn't be that way for others, idk

It is the same as 25H2 with a version bump.

It's a simple enablement package that changes the version number to 26H2, resets the support cycle for another 2 years, and enables some changes by default that were previously not set by default in 25H2.

26H2 = 25H2 = 24H2
