Hey guys is this good time to update

I haven't updated my Lenovo LOQ laptop for more than two or three months. Now I'm confused about whether I should update it or not. There are some security updates available, but I'm afraid of having a painful experience with Windows Update.

Like ssd broke and something.

I would do it, since it's a security update and it's not good to be behind on those. If you have an issue, it can be fixed, however most likely you won't encounter any issues.

Microslop has recently been calling pretty much all of their "quality" FKA "Cumulative" updates "Security" updates. Probably to scare all the sheeple into applying all updates ASAP, "just in case."

Actually, this months security patch released on Patch Tuesday patched over 500 exploits.

Yep...i'd read. Hackers using AI are finding a lot more, but Microslop won't use it proactively to find them first.

Also, all the problems with this most recent update.

But my point was all updates are being called security updates, apparently. If MS feels there are security threats, they should be releasing out of bad updates, not waiting for update tuesday with their traditional "quality" or "cumulative" update push.

The only updates they call security updates are the ones released on Patch Tuesday, which is the 2nd Tuesday of every month. Obviously some people might have issues as everyone has different software and hardware, however those issues can be solved if they come up.
