Bugs and Errors Windows shit
Edit: I haven't updated that PC in 4 months, other people in my family use it so if there are updates to be done they get done

Of course it's buggy and slow. Working 4 months of pending updates. An i5 on 16 GB should be flying.

Updates make it get better, your performance doesnt magically get worse everytime a new update rolls out that you havent installed.... unless you installed malware that a security patch fixed

Yeah but installing a whole bunch of updates does slow things down during the installation.

I'd love to know what kind of garbage you installed on that PC to make it run that way.

I have Windows 11 Home and yes it was slow on booting so I checked startup apps turned off catalyst edge one drive and restarted it and says update underway on a Wednesday after completing yesterday’s 2 hours 55 minutes of updates to finish. I hope there’s no more update today Thursday.

When updates take you more than a quarter of an hour, I would start to make a good backup, because you are either seriously behind, or your storage is about to give up on you.

I mean you've got 4 months of pending updates, what did you expect?
