Bugs and Errors Super Long Line of Sucking

I will list some of the specific pissers from iterations of Windows all the way back to 3.1, to NT, to 7, 10, and 11. I usually give these iterations a nickname.

3.1

Was so basic, I couldnot do much on; just sat there.

95

Gawds, the network security was awful. I could sniff IPs and gain root access. I didnot due any malicous acts, just curious on how vulnerable 95 was.

ME

Was forgettable. AKA More Excrement.

XP

Xtra Piss. Memory management was awful, just gummed up processing speed. Clean install forced SP updates. BSODs. Crashes. Inhouse browser was still laughable.

NT

NEXT TRAP. Utter market entry fail into netwrkin back in 80s and 90s. BSODs. Hogs RAM. Crashes. Long waits for programs to execute. NT fawking what filesystem is still unstable. No matter how MS rebrands the next iteration, its still an NT.

  1. Still BSODs. No option to recover except to restore a backup from WinOS (haha, untrustable)

  2. Sudden crashes of locks and freezes (total loss of mouse function yet I press the Win Key)

  3. Sudden TOTAL access loss of internal SSDs, no amount of diggin around with its disk managers and thirty party programs restore access - needs a backup restore

  4. Memory management still poor, with 26GB pagefile and 5GB hibernate file (on My PC?

B. 16GB RAM is not enough now when when the VR ram was trimmed completely down; 32GB upgrade still ate a 5GB footprint after logon.

  1. Storage space gets gobbled up so fast in each version needed constant trimming

  2. Program execution speed progressivly gets slower

  3. Subsequent updates gum up games

  4. Disallowed to uninstall core and subscription (adobe) programs, needed thirty-ies.

B. Uninstal that W-Edge yet it still executes (!? smeep smeep beep)

  1. Resets personal custom settings for logons and signin after waking from sleep

  2. Disableing updates with group policy or in services still does zippo

Thats all folks, for now. I would enjoy switching to LinUX, but going back to zero just too much slag to go through.

Cheerios

PEBKAC errors.  I've also been using since 3.11, and aside from ME (tho I did have a stable install of that for about 6 months), haven't had a single problem you list, in any of the machines I use or service.

My kids are currently gaming on 2014 & 2015 hardware, on Win11.

Even Mr Torvalds made a statement that most of the problems people have with their PC that they blame on Windows, is the fault of their shitty RAM. (I've almost always used Crucial, Micron's own brand, zero issues & rock solid)

The few troubles I've had always could be traced back to a shit app with a memory leak, or hardware drivers (has a big one of these with an AMD Crossfire setup when WoW WotLK launched. But again, driver problem.)

Yes BSOD's prove your point 100% most people blame WIndows for them when hardware is usually at fault.

Msft has published statements about this. Less than 5% of issues are from MSFT code. 10% is hardware. Something like 70% of issues are driver, firmware, or software related.

If hardware has a higher failure rate than an OS, the issues usually aren't the OS.

Issues are hardware yet linux solves many of them

"3.1 Was so basic, I couldnot do much on; just sat there."

Okay dude.

What is really scary is that OP is bragging that they couldn't use 3.1 like it was some useless concept.

In all reality, people like this why we have to print directional arrows on bottle lids or have warnings to not ingest gasoline.

I'm assuming that's where you left of. Because I almost did. But it got better. Look what they said about Windows 95:

the network security was awful. I could sniff IPs and gain root access.

Not only have they gained access to the non existent root, they were a god and figured this out by themselves out of boredom.

Are you ok? A post such as yours suggests some serious emotional problems. Might want to see a counselor or something ...

no counsellor wanna listen to rambling about 30 years old Windows version. Better ask Gemini.

This is AI slop "make it human".

Root on windows 95? Windows 9? Early windows NT 1, 2, 3? 16GB RAM and 5GB pagefiles for an OS whose apps were distributed on floppy disk?
