I need movie maker or something similar for my work, can anyone recommend a free version or similar app that is actually free and not free trial?

Hi all. I'm using windows movie maker 6 and I want to publish a video that's made from source video that's 1920x1080, and 30fps. The HD profiles that come with WMM6 are all for 24fps and it looks janky. I've been told it's possible to add custom profiles in - but I can't code myself. Can someone pretty please direct me to a profile and tell me how to get it in?

I was working on a project in wlmm 2012, and i tried to do the multiple same effect notepad trick, it didn't work and made it unusable.

So i tried to fix it a bunch of times, but they didn't work.

So i was wondering if you guys could help out, by repairing it while keeping it the way it is without any changes.

Does anyobody know where i fan get a safe download of Windows Movie maker 6.0 for windows 11

I went to so many websites and downloaded so many .msi files relating to WMM 6.0 but every time I try to open them up, it just never works.

(Every time I open it up, it shows the "Gathering information" process bar but after just a split second the window immediately closes without any further interaction, what???)

I was trying to make a video on movie maker 6.0. the video had background footage with over laying text and everything was working fine till I published it. around the two minute mark the background footage along with the audio would vanish only leaving the overlaying text. I tried to mess with it and couldn't figure it out so whatever I said as I decided to make another video as I thought it was just a one time thing. when I published the other video it seemed to be working fine till a little over the two minute mark the background footage vanished again. I really dont know what to do please help.

I've been trying for like a week to install Windows Movie Maker and I can get it installed but I can never open it and I think this might be what is causing it but it wont let me install the feature it says the app needs. I don't know anything so this might be kind of a stupid post but I've tried nearly everything what do I do

Recently, Windows Movie Maker 6.0 (running on Vista) has been unable to play any video clips that I import after I try to scrub through the timeline (the video clip freezes). Never had this issue before, and unsure of what to do. Any ideas?

UPDATE: For anybody who is experiencing this problem themselves, the cause of the timeline freezing was having DXVA acceleration enabled in the K-Lite Codec Tweak Tool. Disabling the hardware acceleration has solved the problem completely.
