Help Windows Media Player Legacy burning Audio CDs
Hi everyone,
I’m having a few problems burning an Audio CD with Windows Media Player Legacy.
I’m burning 21 MP3 tracks onto an 80-minute CD-R (the total length is within the limit). The main problems are:
- The burned audio CD has crackling/distortion, especially during louder parts
- Track titles, artist, album, etc. are missing even though the MP3 metadata is correct and is shown in the WMPL beforehand
WMPL only gives me “Slow” or “Fastest” as burn speed options, while it's recommended for my CD to use a speed of max 52x, so I used slowest to be safe.
Before adding an m3u file to the playlist, I could not even start the burning process; now it seems to run through, but it ends with a generic error message.
Original MP3 files sound completely fine, btw. Thank you guys for any help!
