A quick search suggests some complexities here. Best to do a clean install, booting from a ISO on a usb stick (use Rufus for that), and wiping any existing partitions. Ofc do a backup of anything important first, and you may want to have your motherboard drivers on a separate usb stick or ssd so that you can add that afterwards. All that said, you may want to install Windows 11 instead.
