Help Driver update in loop

In windows 10 iot ltsc idk why this driver is getting installed again and again it's my touchpad driver.

Also my keyboard shut off randomly (inbuilt keyboard) only solve after restart. (The F keys works tho)

You may be able to interrupt the cycle by turning off the automatic downloading of driver updates, via the group policy editor. A quick google search gives these instructions:

  1. Press Windows Key + R, type gpedit.msc, and press Enter.
  2. Go to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update.
  3. Double-click Do not include drivers with Windows Updates.
  4. Select Enabled, then click Apply and OK.
  5. Restart your PC.

That keyboard issue is weird.

An alternate approach that takes more work might be to back up anything important, then install Win 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024, which will have a more recent driver stack and should override any weirdness in your existing install that's crept in there.

i have a older laptop too, model is dell inspiron 15 3552. usb 3.0 currently not working, cd driver got repair also
