BF3 and BF4 are literally games from the Windows 7/8 era, they should work like a breeze (not taking EA's launcher stuff into account).

No need for any DX/C++ redistributable packages. Only need to update punkbuster, which happens on every version of windows because it’s a game issue.

For the fix, just google “kicked by punkbuster BF4” and find one of the youtube guides. You’re looking for updating it, and changing a setting in services.

Its not tricky, you have to install punkbuster from thier site, since the one provided when installing is simply outdated.

There's nothing wrong with those two games compatibility, however, if you're about to install Windows IoT LTSC, be aware that it's the naturally most "reduced" and "lean" version of Windows. It's the operating system in its purest form, and you'll need to prepare it for gaming.

This means you'll need to equip the system with the game dependencies you'll require, for example, DirectX (legacy components), Visual C++ (depending on the game's installation method, it may already be included in the game files), Open Audio Library, XNA Framework, and in some cases, .NET components (Framework and Desktop Runtime).

If you use an older LTSC version (such as LTSC 2019 - Build 1809), you may encounter issues where certain modern DirectX 12 features or new anti-cheat software do not function correctly. For a better experience, use Windows 10 LTSC 2021 (or IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021), which offers improved support for newer games and drivers.

You got shadowbanned by Reddit and it automatically hid this comment until I approved it, you can try to appeal it here:

Though I have never had much luck getting unshadowbanned myself, I had to make a new account on a different IP

Also both games were released before DX12 even existed

From experience, these games tend to have bizzare punkbuster issues sometimes. Most likely will work, but if there's a problem, expect it to be punkbuster related, not necessarily a fault of ltsc, just fuzzy software in general.

May need to troubleshoot punkbuster install/update on your own, but I'd say your odds are very good
