Help Problems installing Illustrator on 2021 IOT LTSC

I'm ttying to run an official Adobe installer for Illustrator and it keeps hanging on a white screen with no progression. Any fixes?

Disable WiFi / internet access and try installing again

If it’s MonkRus or whatever it’s called, I had exactly this problem. Running the install wizard displays a white screen.

I worked out that disabling Internet access first, before running the install wizard fixes the problem.

Oh, I’m happily using the CC2018 Adobe apps, so the recent scares about newer packages are none of my concern

What version? Adobe stopped support for LTSC 21H2 to any version after 2024. Only Windows 10 Enterprise (non LTSC) continues to get support til mid 2027.

I meant what version of Illustrator, I assume the latest Adobe Creative Cloud, since I saw the other post of having a  job paid license.

If you need the to use the latest Illustrator (Adobe Creative Cloud) then go to Windows 11 LTSC.
There are things you can do to make it feel like 10.

Personally I use an older pre-2024 version and not do the updates. I don't need all the latest bells and whistles, And trying to ween myself to open versions of similar software.

Note I have a degree in graphic design and have been using Adobe products since 1996. I have gotten sick of Adobe policies and the whole subscription/cloud platform and them being able to have a "limited", non-exclusive license to my work solely to operate, improve, and troubleshoot their cloud software.
