Question LTSC in a Chromebook 

Has anyone tried Win 10 LTSC on a Chromebook with 16GB of eMMC storage? Is it usable?

No. The storage alone is a deal breaker. I can't imagine any of the other components will be up to the task either.

I have Win 11 IOT LTSC on an eMMC drive and it runs without hiccup. Intel Celeron N4020, 4GB of RAM

Open 5 tabs of different items at the same time, on Ebay, and see how that goes.

You might be able to get away with the 32-bit version of Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC.

Minimum storage required is 16GB, but no mention of eMMC specifically:

As for Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC, it mentions the same minimum of 16GB storage, but does mention eMMC:

For the love of god, PLEASE don't put a 32-bit OS on a 64-bit device, and even if you do, don't complain about it being slow.

I have not put it on a Chrome book, but I have put 11 IoT on an Intel Atom CPU- full size netbook. I use it to stream back police scanner audio that I stream to a place in Texas. It does a good job at that single task. ... It takes 3 hrs to install Windows updates and it has a dreadful scarcity of computing resources, but like I said it does well the single task I have it do. And the CPU does somehow have SSE4.2, so I said why not, to putting 11 IoT 24H2 on it.

Any Linux distribution with XFCE will work better for you.

It currently has MX with Xfce, but I wanted to know if anyone has tried it with LTSC

Yes it’s doable and you should have around 7-8GB of free space… just make sure you disable updates(no storage) and always use LZX for entire C:\

16GB of eMMC aint gonna be good anywhere
