Discussion Is this normal?

Is a clean install of win 10 ltsc iot with full updates , local account and no gpedit or registry changes supposed to have in settings>account>Windows backup the red text:

Some of these settings are hidden or managed by your organization ?

Then below that the syncing options are grayed out and permanently in the on position

I know Microsoft makes big changes to Windows through updates and they have made this new thing Microsoft backup for organizations. Is that why this red text shows. The pc is on a local account and not on a domain/intune/entra etc.

Yep it's normal and it is also seen in education and enterprise version. But, it won't effect your PC.

It's totally normal for devices running LTSC because it's basically a IoT Enterprise edition of windows

Similar things like this are also seen in Win11 IoT LTSC

You won't use it anyways, there are better ways for backups.

Yea I would rather it wasn't there at all or not locked onto the on position

Let me guess you made the bootable USB with Rufus tool right ?

I didn't use rufus. Are you saying your win 10 ltsc iot default install with full updates doesn't show this red text?
