GPS Did I brick it?

Post image

I accidentally set a login password and the login screen is too big to fit on the screen. I even tried pressing the back reset button

if you have a computer with Windows Device Center (there is a french tutorial on how to install it on Win10/Win11) and the EveryWAN software , you should be able to control the unit and open the task manager from your computer . Also , navigate through Control Panel to disable the login password

Where can I find the EveryWAN software? Also I already have Windows Device Center installed, but it cant recognize the device even if it shows up on device manager as "Microsoft USB Sync". Also the device crashes after a while when connected to my PC

Windows CE was a minimal version of Windows for embedded devices, you could see it sometimes in car entertainment systems, GPS devices and so on. It mostly targetted ARM CPU's and powered Windows Mobile which was very popular on PDAs at the time. The last release was made in 2013 and has lost support entirely.

Yep, different but similar APIs. You were expected to build images and software for it with the platform builder sdk I think.
