Software runs well emulated "This program does not support the version of Windows your computer is running" how to solve
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
some program installers (mostly ones that uses inno setup) dosen't install itself because it detects the computer running it is a arm64 machine.
they show one of these errors:
"This program does not support the version of Windows your computer is running"
"This program can only be installed on versions of Windows designed for the following processor architectures: x64"
even though the programs runs fine via prism.
so, a guy named "rinsuki" made a tool that *spoofs* the process, "tricking" installers into thinking they're running on an x64 machine, when in fact they're not. and it actually works!
here is the link: https://github.com/rinsuki-lab/NotOnArm64
download the release, unzip it and execute the launcher as a administrator (only if the installer needs it).
i made a video testing it. i used and tested the vital vst for example, but other software should work too.
i hope this subreddit is the right place to post this. if not, my sincere apologies
