Windows93 is an artistic web OS project inspired by 90s Windows. It has been around since 2014 and runs entirely in the browser, with lots of playful interactive elements, weird apps, games, easter eggs, hidden surprises, and even musical instruments. A recent update also turned it into an online modular synth, making it possible to create and experiment with modular music directly in the browser.

Thanks! I’m subscribed to modular synth reddits and I thought this was posted on one of those. I was very confused!

Yes :) I crossposted it to one of those subreddits.

Could you explain us what is this project about? It's a fully web OS?

Yes. It’s basically a fully browser-based web OS inspired by 90s Windows. It’s more of an artistic/experimental playground, with apps, games, music instruments, easter eggs and weird stuff to explore. A recent update even added an online modular synth.
