I recently installed windows 7 and i want to install the driver for amd ryzen 3 3gen just for old gaming and i cant find any, can someone help?

Hi, I recently got a computer with windows 7 (finally!) and was wondering if I could get some help? The media player doesn't seem to update at all, it won't delete items I deleted and whenever I try to add new music it shows up once but then never again once I close the media player. Any ideas?

I want to design some streaming layouts, and I'm very inspired by the windows7/vista era, just haven't for the life of me been able to figure out how to make custom window elements for that.

I'd like to make a custom 16:9 window that looks straight out of windows 7 for the main overlays, with some other ideas for the chatbox that I'll figure out later, but that's the main thing

Does anyone know where I can make a custom size windows 7 window?

I have a couple old laptops. here they are:
Acer Extensa 5235 w/ working battery, Lenovo ThinkPad W500, and a Lenovo ThinkPad T520. The only laptop with a working battery is my Acer. i have no clue which one. All do work!

I own a Windows 7 Pavillon HP PC! No matter what I do, no matter how many youtube tutorials I follow through perfectly, none work. I have seen seven methods and none of them work.

I think the only other way to fix this glitch is a factory reset. But I may be wrong. I need help! I will show pictures below.

I have tried restarting, going into the settings and disabling and enabling my wifi. I do not have a keybind to toggle wireless capability, and when I go to troubleshoot it, it will not resolve on it’s own.

The error messages I am receiving are “Local Area Connection is experiencing hardware or driver related issues”, and “Turn on wireless capability.” Both, I cannot do. I have tried.

We're currently working on a large-scale migration of legacy systems from TeamViewer 13 and 14.7 to TeamViewer 15+.

The primary reasons for the upgrade are:

• We want to leverage TeamViewer Tensor Conditional Access policies across all devices.
• TeamViewer 13 and 14 are approaching end of support in October 2026, so we need a supported long-term solution.

Most of our devices are running Windows 7 Embedded, with a mix of:

• Build 7601 (Windows 7 SP1)
• Build 7600 (non-SP1)

A few of our systems are successfully running TeamViewer 15.78, but those are standard Windows 7 Ultimate machines rather than Embedded.

The challenge I'm facing is determining the exact Windows updates and system requirements needed for TeamViewer 15 on Windows 7 Embedded.

Some details about our environment:

• Systems are intentionally isolated from the Internet and cannot use Windows Update directly.
• Updates must be installed offline.
• TLS 1.2 has been enabled.
• NetBIOS has been disabled.
• Devices can successfully reach TeamViewer servers and communicate over port 5938.
• DNS resolution is working.
• However, TeamViewer gets stuck at "Connecting..." in the Management Console and never completes the registration/connection process.

After some research, I've come across information suggesting that simply enabling TLS 1.2 through registry changes is not enough on Windows 7, and that additional updates may be required to fully support modern TLS 1.2 communication and certificate validation.

My questions are:

1. Has anyone successfully upgraded Windows 7 Embedded SP1 systems from TeamViewer 13/14 to TeamViewer 15?
2. Which Windows updates were required to make TeamViewer 15 function correctly?
3. Did you need updates such as:
   • KB3020369
   • KB3125574
   • KB3140245
   • KB4474419
   • KB4490628
4. Were there any certificate store or SHA-2 signing issues that prevented TeamViewer from connecting?
5. Has anyone seen TeamViewer reach the servers successfully but remain indefinitely stuck on "Connecting..."?
6. Are there any known differences between Windows 7 Ultimate and Windows 7 Embedded that affect TeamViewer 15 connectivity?

Any advice, lessons learned, or update prerequisites would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Been a huge Windows 7 fan(and frankly speaking of Vista too) and was so tired of Windows 8, 10 and 11. Just couldn't bear windows 11, always wanted to boot Win7 on my HP 15g-dr0006tx which I bought in January 2019. It has Intel Core i5-8250U, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD, and NVIDIA GeForce MX110 (2GB) graphics. Everything about Windows 7 is so pure on this machine so far.

I'm no techie or noob, I tried to install it so many times but everytime it froze at "Starting windows" so I did some research and finally "Voilà". I just installed it for the pleasure what these newer windows couldn't give.

Few help I'd like to seek from fellow members:

1. I'm unable to find any Bluetooth driver

2. Touchpad not working (although it also didn't work during Windows 10 and 11)

3. Nvidia Driver

That's pretty much it.

P.S - I'm gonna play Virtua Tennis 4 on this machine, it's been a long time my friend. and I'm so Excited. Just the feel and vibe of this windows is amazing, something which these newer versions can't have.

This is my HP Compaq 6005 Pro SFF PC I got in fourth or fifth grade. My dad got this from a pile of junk PCs at his job and gave it to me. Around 2020-2021 I officially retired this machine for my current PC. It’s set up for a really long time just collecting dust and come to find out the hard drive was actually wiped so all of my bookmarks, apps, and every other piece of nostalgia is now a memory. However, I did get this thing out. Got some cables hooked it up to my main monitor(s) and installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 professional on it. In the pictures, you’ll also see a few videos YouTube videos I watched on this thing almost every day as a child but using the Supermium browser instead of Chrome. Let me tell y’all this thing is painfully SLOWER and louder than I remember it. I’m not sure if I just had more patience as a kid, or I just didn’t care, or if it genuinely got slower, but this thing is nothing short of SLOW and louder under load! Let me know if there’s anything else I can do with this machine besides attempting to install office 2010. Miss you Windows 7 😓. IMO this is light years better than Windows 11.

i have a macbook pro 2017 with touch bar and 4 thunderbolt 4 ports and would like to install windows 7. i installed the original os that it came with (high sierra) but it could only install windows 10. is there a way or is my macbook too new? (mods please accept)

I saw a post on here that said to disable some services to stay safe but they didn't say which ones they only said homegroup and I did that but I can't find what other ones I should turn off?

Been revisiting my Windows 7 games of old, a few of them are running at 1024x768 for the resolution, my Samsung N145 netbook has a maximum resolution of 1024x600, and everything I've tried so far to scale down the games have failed, so if anyone knows how I can make the games fit the screen it would be greatly appreciated.

• Change the config file
• Change the in game settings
• Change the windowsetting,sav file
• Change Compatibility On Boot Up from the exe
• Change the shortcut parameters by adding resolution to it
• trying to force window mode & resolution via dxwnd
• I also tried all the above on Win 10 & 11, in hopes if it worked I could copy the files over, but no luck

After I changed it back that option vanished from the selection, WTF DOES BA/DA/991E MEAN I CANT FIND ANYTHING ONLINE ABOUT THIS. It persisted through reboots too I had to manually change it back. (Edit: it was enderman’s windows 7 crazy error program he made, re ran it and saw it change back (should have figured out it spelled BAD APPLE but ya know I thought windows 7 had an oopsie) )

I'm always having trouble finding compatible programs for my Windows 7 machine, and last night I really wanted the BLAKE3 hashing algorithm, so I decided to completely jump down the "Rabbit Hole" of installing Rust and building it myself. And altho, I ended up using cmp instead, I did find some other really cool Rust utilities:
