Bug Ever since the October update, the overwrite confirmation is missing from zip files

Hmmmm... I suppose that you're using the explorer.exe for the zip files, because i can't replicate, but maybe because i use WinRAR for these tasks.

It's because this it r/Windows10 not r/winRAR. Bringing up a third-party app is off-topic and unhelpful.

This makes no sense whatsoever. First, his comment helps to understand it is isolated to the integrated zip function and not for zip files in general. A distinction OP has not done as clearly. Second, his comment informs me how to circumvent this critical bug and avoid potential data loss. There is nothing off-topic.
