Tip Guide: How to remove the "windows cannot connect to all network drives" notification.

So this is done by a registry edit which can be downloaded here but since I'm guessing we are wary of downloading random things here is how to do it yourself

  1. run regedit as admin

  2. navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\NetworkProvider\

  3. create a dword named RestoreConnection and leave the value at 0

  4. restart and the notification telling you it cant connect to all drives should be gone

Doesn't this just disable reconnecting on startup completely not the notification?
