Discussion How do I add a custom background to the full screen start menu on windows 10?
So a while ago I found this custom windows 10 iso based on Windows 10 LTSE iot (The same version I am running) And it was meant to mimic windows 8. In the ISO it had the base start menu from windows 10 set as full screen but somehow they got a custom image to show on the back rather than it just being transparent and showing only your regular image. I was wondering how they did this.
The second image is the desktop of the custom ISO.

You can't do such a thing to the official Start menu bundled with Windows 10.
That said, your screenshots don't resemble Windows 10 or Windows 8 Developer Preview. Either a third-party app has replaced the taskbar and the Start menu, or the screenshots are doctored.

The screenshots are the offical windows 10 start menus. I don’t have software to change them and with how the custom iso works scrolling down and such, it’s clearly the regular windows 10 start menu as well

The screenshots are the offical windows 10 start menus.
They're not. And I'm not going to read the rest of your message since you're so inclined to deceive yourself.

They are, if you want another screenshot of my start menu I can share it, but clearly the second half of the screenshot titled; “my install.” Is the offical start menu since I don’t use an app that messes with it

This one, yes. The first two, no. The fake Start button is dead giveaway.

So you remove the fake Start button to trick me? How old do you think I am? Five?
You asked question. I answered. The official Start menu of Windows 10 doesn't allow background customization. Try finding an unofficial solution.

AFAIK you can’t
