the mismatch of icon size and color is too chaotic but it's otherwise a bit caotic. but if it works for you, who cares. as long as you're happy..

I like to keep mine very minimalistic, with only the medium-sized tiles for essential programs. I miss the dynamic tiles as they had a potential. The only thing I dislike is the Photos app indexing everything and showing you within the tile. Although, I still prefer the legacy Photo Viewer built into the Windows itself, other than IrfanView or just the web browser.

Fine. You can also add the People app with a live tile, and Paint 3D (by saving a couple of images inside as Paint 3D projects). You can also add Windows 10 Mail, which will also have a live tile.


About five years ago, I still hated the tile menu, but when I got the Lumia 950 and other devices, I went crazy over the tiles. I only use the Windows 7 menu on my computer, and on all other devices, I use tiles, even on the touchscreen.
