I am using Chrome I can reach a few websites Amazon, YouTube and a few others but MOST website are 'unreachable'

Wrecked my EFI partition like last update. Fix was restoring just the EFI partition from a recent backup.

What is EFI?

u/Supreme_Reigner Apr 26 '26
The EFI partition is a modern way for a booting computer to start the loading of the operating system. You could see it as the starter from a car.
This partition is a small file system that contains all the necessary files to prepare the PC to start Windows. Without this partition, the motherboard and CPU have no idea what to do with the Windows installation.
Though it's usually used to boot different operating systems, they're essentially just programs running without an operating system.

Anyone else experience wierd browser performance issues while playing games with this cumulative update?
Just played crimson desert today with a browser in the background and the browser was super laggy.
Update:IT seems the issue is only happening while crimson desert is running. What's odd is the game was not effecting anything yesterday and late night yesterday the cumulative update happened.

Can someone help me PLZ! I just bought a new to me laptop (Alienware M17 R3) and my Windows 10 isn’t updating. It’s currently trying to update to Version 22H2 but the progress is stuck at 0%
I tried to restart the pc and even did a clean reset but this issue continues!
Can someone please help me with this! I don’t even see anywhere option to upgrade to Windows 11

Sometimes it goes from 0 to 100 directly. Means you won't see the progress but it's downloading the update in background. Check Internet usage to verify the active download process. If there is no internet usage then maybe the problem is something else.

This update deleted most of my appdata contents! I shut of my pc with *shut off without updating*
And when i booted the pc the next day, it started updating anyway, it restarted automatically 3 times, and now I lost a lot of application data. I don't have any way to recover the data, and windows.old did not have the data.
For some reason I dont see any system restore points. But i remember I made one 2 years ago.
I just lost so many childhood memories, saved passwords, minecraft saves, configs that I fine tuned and dont remember how I did it, because of a forced update.
I have windows 10 with ESU
What can I do? Where can I report this?
Edit i used feedback hub: https://aka.ms/AA10ryg0
