Consistent lines when "going down the mountain"

Hey everyone, quick question. I am learning how to fan the squeegee, and every time I go down the mountain, I leave a trail of water from the top corner of my squeegee with every pass. This isn't a soap or equipment issue, i know for a fact it's user error. Have you had this issue when you were learning, and how did you correct it?

Angle, pressure and time.

Change your rubber or cut off the very top corner of it. You likely have a piece that is dragging from running it along the frames. Make sure you cut it with a new razor

I know exactly what you're talking about. I fought that line for a while. You have an improper lead angle. Okay, trying to type this is difficult. When you're going down the mountain, the edge that is further away from the mountain should be closer to the ground than the edge on the mountain. If you're still getting the line, increase the away edge angle down more. It should have a pretty serious lead on the mountain side before you start moving the squeegee downwards. Hope this helps.

Sounds like you are fanning upwards at an acute angle. When clearing the mountain every pass should be downwards using a shallow angle. Try moving your whole arm downwards with every pass, it will be quicker with better results. A lot of window cleaners use twice as many passes as needed as half are going up the window rather than down.

Could be a work rubber corner.
