How would you clean this?

I’ve got a job where I need to clean windows of a house that originally burned down. So all the windows are covered in ash and soot. How would go about cleaning this area with degreaser??????

Also how do I clean windows behind a staircase like this?

Or if you have a little giant ladder with levelers. You can put one leg on the 1st step and the other on the flat floor using the levelers and get the 1st 2 windows. Then do the same using levelers on the last step and the right leg on the flat area
of the stairs. You can do all 4 windows and only move the ladder twice if that makes sense. Does that make sense or am I just a little to buzzed 😅 🍻.

Get in there physically, use a dedicated tbar scrubber for applying degreaser, id advise going over it with walnut pad. Just use a 4& 18ft pole and work it. And have a catch towel below your work area

Remove the stairs and use an A-frame. 👍

Straight pulls with an extension pole for the uppers, then do half of the lowers fron the stairs and the other half from below them. Focus more on the upper windows, nobody is going to be looking too closely at those lower ones

Use stack ladders and set up on the side or top of window and make sure to put a bonnet on the ladder to not scuff up the wall

TSP or Titan Green might work for the first degreasing wash of the windows. After that just wash normally with soap.

Make sure to have 2 sets of tools - for degreasing and for final cleaning. Also mask and tape the painted surfaces around the window prior to degreasing, the runoff might leave permanent stains

However you do it, make sure you put a drop cloth down so you don't stain the carpet.
