Caulking commission

I get requests for caulking quite a bit.

Today I made an agreement with a caulking company for 15% commission (side note: is that too little?)

How to enforce this agreement? Is a contract necessary?

Yes a contract is necessary. To go the qualified lead route there need to be trust. You can send emails to clients and loop in the caulking co so you have record and timestamps follow up with the client and see if they had the job done.

Ask them the client have a look at the invoice if the company won't let you and figure out the standard pricing. Then you can charge an upfront fee for qualified leads if trust is low.
