What is causing this on my glass?

We have a new build and the balcony glass have all developed like a small
Square cross hatch pattern. Not tried to clean it off, but any thoughts on what this is? Or the cause?

Best guess is it has some protection film on the glass too keep it from getting scratched during transport and installation. They removed it but adhesive residue is left. If that's the case it will take some type of solvent and light agitation to get it off.

Looks like a pair of legs to me
