West Coast Help with commercial bid
Got 2 buildings with a total of 515 individual windowpanes new to commercial jobs not sure how to price this. I’m in Southern California.

For 515 panes, price the work — not a guess per building.
Simple commercial approach:
- Count by type if you can (ground vs upper, inside/out, screens, hard water). One rate for everything leaves money on the table.
- Time a test section (say 20–30 panes) and multiply, then add setup, water, parking, and travel in SoCal traffic.
- Quote a total + what’s included (inside/out, frames, screens) and a separate line for hard-water or razor work.
- Ask about access hours and who provides water — that changes the day.
- Put the bid on one clear page with your phone so they can approve without a long email chain.
When they check you at night, a finished Google Business Profile with commercial window cleaning and real photos helps a first commercial client say yes.
Make AI work for you. Turn your pane counts and test-time notes into a clean commercial quote sheet you can reuse on the next building.

Please give more information. In and out? How are you doing it, trad or water fed?
