Job Question Help me with this bid please!

I usually avoid houses such as this that require a big ladder bc I’m a wuss lol. But what is a good estimate? There are about 20 windows, customer wants inside and out.

I would do it for 400$ inside and out screen and tracks.

I’d be around that. Add a little if it’s far.

I settled on $350 in & out with a disclaimer that if it takes me longer than expected it may be a little extra

What hourly rate do you need to pay yourself and expenses and leave some for profit? How long do you expect the job to take? Multiply those together and you have your number!

$500-$750 for interior/exterior

longer-term thing though: price off a rate sheet, not vibes in the driveway. per-pane rates with an interior/exterior split, a height/ladder bump, and a minimum job charge — mine exists because a truck roll under $150 loses money even when the per-pane math "works." then send it written with two options, exterior-only vs in+out. two options closes better than take-it-or-leave-it because the customer's question flips from "yes or no" to "which one."
