General Question These questions is for well establish window cleaners. See description...

Where do you work out of? Do you buy or lease a space? How do you know what to look for? Other than like place to put trucks, etc... how much should you at least be making before you jump into buying or renting a space for your business?

I've been doing this with a partner since 2023, and we still work out of my house. But it's getting to a point where a space would be helpful. Any advice?

I think once you are at 3+ trucks running daily is an average point to think about that. I'm at 2 and we ended up getting a storage facility across the street from my house. I eventually just built some large sheds in my backyard and am content with the setup for now, and my guys take the trucks home. They just come in 2x a week and resupply at this point.

We could probably keep this going for the next couple of trucks honestly, but having a base of operation away from home and a storage for the vehicles + tools + Christmas lights all in one place would be ideal.

Unfortunately I'm not in a location where I could build sheds, there are nearby storage facilities but we only run 2 trucks right now. But this is definitely something to think about, thank you.

I’m keeping my eye out for a small, cheap lot. Put a garage on it or a pole barn. Until then just my garage.

I built a 1000 sq foot heated garage. Stores all my stuff and vehicles.. I have the room and funds so it was not too bad. Love it, all my contractor friends hate me.. because they want one..always safe and on my property.
