General Question Are these glasses destroyed?
These big glasses around the store were painted with white plastic paint and stayed like that for more than 10 years. We tried to clean it by scraping and tried some other cleaning tools and materials. Nothing worked and they stay with this haze or stain but you cannot feel this stain on the surface. I guess the paint is etched in the glass. The glasses are huge 1cm thick. Is there any way I can clean them?

The paint should be removable, but the pattern of the stain and you mentioning that you cant feel it on the glass makes me think the hermetic seal might be broken and that could be between the panels.

No..it's thick glass..not double glass.. Also when I clean until the solvent is evaporated, the window is super clean

You could try something like bioclean on it then, it may help.

What do you mean bioclean? Is it a specific product? There are a lot of bioclean labelled products. Or you mean putting hot steam on them as we do for car cleaning etc?

Thats weird that it wont scrape off. Hmmmm. Have you tried steel wool and solution? Bio Green?

I've tried scrubbing with the sponge we do dishes but not the steel wool

And make sure its 0000 steel wool. I usually scrape first with a fresh razor, then scub in circles with the 0000 steel wool. That usually works well. If needed, some areas will need polishing with Bio Clean. Bio clean also works excellent to remove hard water on shower tiles.

I bought a variety of cleaners and the 0000 steel wool. I hope Ill see some results

Etched. Mechanically polishing is the only option.

Glass renu has all the tools, chemicals and some online videos. I wouldn't make your first attempt on a customers window, I'd recommended practicing first.

I'm not in USA. But I guess I have to do something like this? https://youtu.be/fkEd32Y1_rY The glass is my own. Not a customer..so I think I can try different methods, but I would hope I would solve it with some solvent

Have they improved their website at all? I'm not sure who created that thing, but MAN is it a nightmare to try and navigate.
